NAPWA successfully launched a new creative initiative called "This Is My Story" during National HIV Testing Day. The nationwide campaign serves as a conversation piece
to get people talking about HIV/AIDS to reduce stigma, increase testing, and improve the use of social networks for people living with HIV. Stories feature both those living with HIV/AIDS and those
affected by HIV/AIDS. With this new campaign, NAPWA set out to engage people with real stories so that they would have more than just statistics - numbers do not tell the whole story about HIV/AIDS.
Since the "This Is My Story" launched, many have expressed interest in becoming NAPWA members and telling their stories.
